Our Approach

At Shorewood Psychology you’ll find active, engaged and responsive psychologists who have time to listen carefully and tailor our approach to you. With doctoral level training and years of experience, we offer you the opportunity to understand the root of difficulties to facilitate long-lasting relief and sense of well-being. Our work with adults, children, families, and couples can be complemented using collaborative psychological assessment to develop a deeper understanding of you and/or your family and the challenges that you face.

Collaborative psychological assessment is a client-driven approach to understanding problems in living, and jumpstarting the change process. Our psychologists work with you as an individual (adult, teenager or child), or with the couple or family. The process begins with helping you identify the burning questions you have about yourself and your relationships. Through the collaborative assessment process, we discover accurate answers to these questions. An accurate view of yourself and a valid story about how difficulties came to be, highlights the best path forward to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
